THE ART BEHIND THE COLLECTION
It all starts with coloured pencils.
Every print and homeware design begins as one of my original coloured-pencil drawings. I build each piece by hand, layer by layer, capturing the details, expression and character that make each animal individual. The finished artwork then becomes part of the Art by Jay collection — from artwork for your walls to pieces designed to be lived with every day.

THE ARTIST BEHIND THE WORK
Meet Jay
I'm Jay, a self-taught wildlife artist working in coloured pencil. What began with drawing at home has grown into a collection inspired by the birds and animals found across the British countryside.
Every piece starts at my drawing board, with a focus on capturing the character and personality that makes each animal memorable.
