Little Blue celebrates one of Britain’s most familiar garden visitors. I wanted the original coloured-pencil drawing to capture the Blue Tit’s bright colour, compact shape and lively expression without losing the delicate feather detail. The finished piece is small in subject but full of character, bringing a fresh garden-bird presence to the wall without making the space feel busy.
